Register for Pharmacy Connect before EOFY

Pharmacies wanting to spend this year’s training budget before the end of the financial year (EOFY) are encouraged to register their pharmacists and pharmacy staff for Pharmacy Connect today, 30 June.

Pharmacy Connect is the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s key event in the second half of the year and is being held on 1-3 September at the Hilton Sydney.

Kos Sclavos AM, Pharmacy Connect Convenor and former Guild National President, said that now is the perfect time to register for the event, with the financial year finishing and with early bird registration pricing still available.

“EOFY means spending any unallocated training budget to upskill your staff,” Mr Sclavos said.

“For individuals paying their own way, you can claim on tax the cost of attending conferences to maintain and increase the knowledge, capabilities and skills you need to earn your income in your current employment.

“With EOFY upon us and with early bird pricing still on offer, I encourage you to register for the event today.”

Pharmacy Connect offers pharmacists, pharmacy managers, pharmacy staff and group executives a two-day education program, access to a 50-plus stand trade exhibition and the opportunity to network with peers, industry leaders and suppliers.

With a theme of ‘building better connections with patients, this year’s program will bring together leadership, business and clinical content to support attendees in building better patient relationships.

Alongside the educational content, is the sought-after social program including the Welcome Reception at Hilton Sydney’s internationally acclaimed Zeta Bar and the Cocktail Party boasting a buffet dinner, drinks and dancing.

Mr Sclavos also reminded attendees that if they can’t attend the event due to Covid-19 restriction requirements, they can access online session recordings for 50% of the registration fee, transfer their registration to another delegate or receive a full refund.
